Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Hibox accesses, how it is used, and how you can control it. Hibox is a publishing helper that uploads videos to the YouTube channel of the account owner who authorizes it.
Information Hibox accesses
- Google authorization tokens. When you sign in with Google and grant access, Google issues tokens that let Hibox act on your YouTube account within the permissions you approved.
- YouTube channel data. The list of videos on your channel, including titles, publishing status and original upload file names, so Hibox can tell which videos have already been uploaded.
- Content you provide. The video files, thumbnails, titles, descriptions and tags that you prepare for publishing.
Hibox does not collect your name, contacts, location, browsing activity or payment information, and it does not use cookies, analytics or advertising.
How the information is used
The information is used only to provide Hibox's features: uploading your videos, setting their metadata and thumbnails, scheduling publishing times, and avoiding duplicate uploads on your own channel. It is not used for any other purpose.
Storage and security
Authorization tokens and upload records are stored only on the operator's own computer, with access restricted to the operator. They are not uploaded to any server operated by Hibox. Communication with Google uses encrypted HTTPS connections.
Sharing
Hibox does not sell, rent or share your information with third parties. Data is sent only to Google/YouTube, as needed to perform the actions you authorized.
YouTube API Services and Google
Hibox uses YouTube API Services. Your use of YouTube through Hibox is subject to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's handling of your data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
Hibox's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Retention and deletion
Authorization tokens are kept until access is revoked; after revocation they no longer work and are deleted. Operational logs are deleted automatically after 60 days. A record of uploaded videos is kept so that duplicates can be avoided, and can be deleted at any time on request.
You can revoke Hibox's access at any time from your Google Account permissions page (also available at security.google.com/settings/security/permissions).
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
